Mann Cup Live Streaming

The Western Lacrosse Association and the New Westminster Salmonbellies are pleased to announce that all Mann Cup games will be streamed live on WLA TV.

The New Westminster Salmonbellies will host the Six Nations Chiefs at historic Queen’s Park Arena in New Westminster to compete for the ultimate box lacrosse trophy – the Mann Cup.

The schedule is as follows:

• Game #1 – Friday, September 5th – 7:30 pm
• Game #2 – Saturday, September 6th – 7:00 pm
• Game #3 – Monday, September 8th – 7:30 pm
• Game #4 – Tuesday, September 9th – 7:30 pm
• Game #5 – Wednesday, September 10th – 7:30 pm
• Game #6 – Friday, September 12th – 7:30 pm
• Game #7 – Saturday, September 13th – 7:00 pm

“With games expected to sellout, lacrosse fans from across the country will still be able to watch every game on their computer, tablet, or smart phone”, said WLA Commissioner, Paul Dal Monte.

The pay-per-view price is $19.99 per game or $69.99 for a four-game package. Packages are available only until 6 pm, Wednesday Sept. 3rd. Go to wlalacrosse.com for further details.

About the Mann Cup

Donated by Sir Donald Mann in 1910 as the senior amateur championship trophy as a challenge trophy, the 1925 New Westminster Salmonbellies turned the trophy over to the Canadian Lacrosse Association to institute a national playoff system between the East and West. The Mann Cup was played for under field lacrosse rules, until 1932 when box lacrosse was adopted by the CLA. The trophy itself lives permanently at the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in New Westminster, as it is made of solid, low-karat gold, and is valued at over $177,000.
