Shamrocks Stumble in New Westminster

Clinching first place will need to wait for another game as the Shamrocks dropped a 13-7 decision to the New Westminster Salmonbellies on Thursday night at Queens Park Arena.

With the game tied 2-2 mid-way through the 1st period, the Salmonbellies would rattle off 7 consecutive goals to seize total control of the contest.

With the victory, the Salmonbellies clinched a playoff spot, while the Shamrocks bid to finish atop the WLA standing will come down to Saturday's came in Coquitlam.

Tyler Pace was a bright spot for the Shamrocks on Thursday as he netted 4 goals in his best performance since being acquired from Langley at the trade deadline. Chris Boushy, Marshal King, and Jesse King had the other Shamrocks goals.

Saturday's game against the Adanacs is set for 7:00 pm at the Poirier Sports Complex.
